Manufacturing ERP that follows the material, not the paperwork
FlexMat tracks a job from the customer order through the bill of materials, the work order on the floor, the stock it consumes and the quality check it passes, to the dispatch note that leaves your gate — so the office and the shop floor are finally reading the same number.

Best for
Small and mid-sized discrete manufacturers
Covers
BOM, planning, work orders, stock, QC, dispatch
Delivery
Cloud-hosted, or deployed on your own server
From order to dispatch, on one thread
Each module hands off to the next: a confirmed order drives the plan, the plan drives material requirements, the work order consumes stock, and QC decides what can be dispatched.
Bill of materials
Multi-level BOMs with quantity and wastage per component, so the material needed for any finished item is a lookup rather than an estimate.
Production planning
Turn confirmed sales orders into a production plan with material requirements and target dates, and see the shortfalls before they stop a line.
Work orders & job cards
Issue work orders to the floor, track stage-wise progress, and record actual output and consumption against what was planned.
Material & stock control
Raw material, work-in-progress and finished-goods stock by item and store, with goods receipt, issue-to-production and low-stock visibility.
Purchase & vendors
Requisitions raised from material shortfalls, purchase orders against vendor rates, and goods receipt that updates stock the moment material lands.
Quality control
Inspection at inward, in-process and finished stages, with pass, rejection and rework recorded against the batch that produced it.
Sales orders & dispatch
Customer orders, packing and delivery documentation, and dispatch tied back to the production batch it came from.
Costing & reports
Actual material consumption against standard, cost per production batch, wastage and yield — the reports that show where margin leaks.
What you get out of the box
Industries running on FlexMat
Engineering & fabrication
Job-work and made-to-order production where every order has its own BOM and route.
Textiles & apparel
Multi-stage processing with wastage that has to be measured, not assumed.
Plastics & packaging
High-volume runs where material consumption and yield decide the margin.
Food & chemicals
Batch production with inspection checkpoints and traceability from raw material to dispatch.
How you get started
A rollout you can run alongside the way you work today.
Load your masters
Items, stores, vendors, customers and the bills of material for your finished goods.
Open the stock
Enter opening balances for raw material, work-in-progress and finished goods so the system starts from reality.
Run a live order
Plan it, issue the work order, book consumption and log the quality check — with one product line first, not the whole factory.
Roll out and compare
Extend to the remaining lines, then start reading planned versus actual consumption and cost per batch.
Pricing & licensing
FlexMat is licensed per plant rather than per user, so supervisors and store staff can all have logins. Most manufacturers need something bent to their process — an extra inspection stage, a costing rule, an integration with existing accounting or weighbridge systems — and because we build FlexMat, that is a scoped project with a quote, not a feature request. Send us your process and we will price it.
Need it built your way instead?
FlexMat ERP is a starting point. When the fit is not close enough, the same team builds the system from scratch.

FlexMat ERP — Frequently Asked Questions
How is FlexMat different from a generic ERP?
Generic ERPs treat manufacturing as an inventory problem with a production add-on. FlexMat is built around the BOM and the work order: material requirement, consumption against plan, wastage, inspection and batch costing are the core of the system rather than a module bolted to the side.
Do we need to computerise the whole factory before we start?
No, and we advise against it. Start with one product line — masters, BOM, one live work order — and get the numbers matching reality there. Rolling out line by line is how these implementations succeed; a big-bang cutover across every process is how they stall.
Can it handle job work and sub-contracting?
Material issued to and received back from a sub-contractor is a common requirement and one we implement regularly. The exact treatment depends on how your process and documentation work, so we scope it against your flow rather than forcing a fixed model.
Will it integrate with our accounting software?
Yes — this is the most common integration request. We have connected systems like this to accounting packages and other line-of-business tools via APIs or scheduled data exchange. Tell us what you run and we will scope the bridge.
What about our existing stock and item data?
We migrate item masters, vendors, customers and opening stock from your spreadsheets or current system, validate the result in a staging environment, and get your storekeeper to sign it off before go-live.
Can we host it on our own server?
Yes. FlexMat runs on our managed cloud by default, and plants that want everything inside their own network get the same application deployed on their hardware.
See FlexMat run one of your own products
Send us the bill of materials for a single finished item. We will set it up in a demo plant and walk you through the plan, the work order, the consumption and the costing on your own product.
