FlexGrew for Germany

Software Development Company for German Businesses

GDPR-aware custom software, AI and SaaS development for German businesses, with a few shared office hours every working day.

Remote Delivery, GDPR-Aware From the First Call

We don’t have a physical office in Germany, so delivery is fully remote: a Rajkot, India engineering team working against your roadmap, with video calls, written updates, and shared project boards. What we do differently for German clients is start the GDPR conversation at discovery, not after the architecture is already set.

That means agreeing data residency expectations, a Data Processing Agreement, and — for AI work — the relevant EU AI Act risk category, before a single line of integration code is written.

How a Project With Us Actually Starts

Engagements start with a discovery call inside the hours our working days share — typically your morning, our early afternoon. We walk through what you’re building, who it’s for, and — for anything touching personal data — what the GDPR actually requires for that specific use case, not a boilerplate compliance statement.

From there you get a written scope and proposal, then delivery in short sprints with a working build every couple of weeks. Every decision gets a written summary, which German clients often already expect for their own internal audit trail, and one point of contact who actually knows the project.

Working Hours: Germany & Rajkot

Germany (UTC+1, or UTC+2 in European summer) is 3.5–4.5 hours ahead of India — roughly 4–6 shared office hours daily.

4–6 Shared Hours Daily

Enough overlap for a daily or weekly live standup, with the rest of the day handled async.

German Morning, Indian Midday

A 9am call in Germany lands around 12:30–1:30pm in Rajkot — solidly inside both teams’ working day.

Written Records as Standard

Every decision gets a written summary — useful for audit trails German clients often already expect.

Built Around the GDPR (and the EU AI Act for AI Work)

The GDPR applies to any system handling EU personal data; AI features also fall under the EU AI Act’s risk-based rules.

Data Processing Agreement

We agree a DPA before writing integration code that touches EU personal data.

Data Residency Options

When a real contractual requirement calls for EU-region data residency, we scope the infrastructure to match.

AI Risk-Category Awareness

For AI features, we flag where the EU AI Act’s risk category requires extra documentation before launch.

How Engagements Work

Three models — no published prices here; every quote is scoped to the project.

Fixed Scope

A defined project, scoped in detail up front including the data-protection work involved, delivered on an agreed timeline and budget.

Best for: A clear, bounded deliverable

Dedicated Team

A team working continuously against your backlog, for businesses with an ongoing pipeline of features rather than one finite project.

Best for: An ongoing product roadmap

Staff Augmentation

Engineers who plug into your existing team and reporting line to fill a specific skill gap, without spinning up a separate project.

Best for: Filling a gap in an in-house team

Who We Work Best With in Germany

Most of our German-market engagements fall into two groups: businesses replacing outgrown internal tools with proper custom software, and companies building a SaaS or AI product who need both engineering capacity and a partner who takes the GDPR and (where relevant) the EU AI Act seriously from the first conversation — not as paperwork bolted on at the end.

If you already have an in-house developer and need extra capacity for a defined period rather than a full project team, our Staff Augmentation model is usually the better fit; we can work out which model suits your situation on the first call.

Germany FAQs

No — we deliver remotely from our Rajkot, India team, with 4–6 hours of shared office time daily for live calls.
We agree a Data Processing Agreement and scope data residency expectations during discovery, before any integration code is written — not retrofitted after launch.
It can, depending on the use case — we flag where a feature’s risk category under the EU AI Act needs extra documentation, as part of scoping the AI work itself.
When it’s a genuine contractual requirement, we scope infrastructure for EU-region hosting as part of the project — it’s a real architecture decision we make with you, not a default we claim upfront.
A discovery call inside the hours our working days share, covering what you’re building and, for anything touching personal data, what the GDPR requires for that specific case. You get a written scope and proposal afterwards.
Yes, where the engagement genuinely involves processing personal data on your behalf — we work through the DPA as part of scoping, alongside the usual project contract, rather than treating it as an optional extra to request separately later.
